Last Couple of Weeks
Each day appeared longer than it really was. The past one week was a bit exhausting and it tested our adaptability and resilience.
By Wednesday I completed the lesson of Nightingale which I started on Monday. We also had open discussions in the class, where almost all the students participated actively. Also I distributed the answer sheets of the Achievement Test and the Diagnostic Test which I conducted in the past week.
On Thursday, I took one proxy hour to provide a general remedial teaching on the common mistakes that the students made in the Diagnostic test. Then in the afternoon session, we conducted Yoga for the 7th standard students. We began with the warming section by Ms. Neha S. Remanan, followed by the Tadasana, performed by Ms. Amrutha S.G. Then, Ms. Hridya H. explained the benefits of the Yoga and Ms. Mithu Mariam Sam concluded the session with the Lead-Up Activity.
On Friday, we conducted a poster making contest as part of our English Association Mantra named “Brushstrokes of Imagination”. We also distributed a questionnaire to the teachers for gathering information on the implementation and effectiveness of CCE, as part of the practicum for Assessment Paper.
Now when sitting back and reflecting on the week, I realize that it all strengthened our team collaboration and gave us the strength to overcome any unexpected odds with confidence.
